Nice bit on class suffix.

One way to make sure the class suffix is picked up is to do your own modChrome variation in your template. This will override the module's output and let you create your own module wrapper. I can send you more specifics if you like.

The best part about that is you're not modifying the module source itself. When you modify the module source, you have to remember to make the same modifications every time you upgrade the module. Un fortunately, you'll still have to modify the .xml file, so you'll have to keep track of those mods, but only those.

Thank you for the kind comment. Indeed I am aware of the module chrome, just the other day I had to fix a website where the developer was using the wrong custom chrome and in IE no titles showed up on IE because of it. I actually recorded the chrome trick as well, but 10 minutes is not a awful lot of time to fit everything in a screencast. "30 Minute Joomla tips" wasn't quite as snappy a title smilies/smiley.gif

However, if you do want to write an article about the chrome, I'll be happy to publish it and /or link to your site from my blog.Or even do a small bit in a future edition (and give you credit for it) Not many people are aware of chromes and overrides. I did mention overrides in the screencast but again, I had to cut it short.

Cheers

I really appreciate your offer to help. It's my belief that our work is a collaborative effort and not one person has all the answers.
