4 hours of one-on-one Joomla training for $300 (regular $380).
This is a great deal for someone with a few blank spots in their Joomla or web design knowledge or someone wanting to learn the Joomla/Dreamweaver integration procedures.

4 Hours are usually enough to troubleshoot several minor issues with a web site or get an orientation on the basics of integrating Joomla using Dreamweaver and Firefox.

Lessons will follow a schedule similar to the one below:

Hour 1:

Setting up Dreamweaver and Firefox
Prepare local and remote Joomla website (if already installed) or Installing Joomla on Cpanel based server

Hour 2:

Link up local and remote sites
Demo of the editing of a Joomla template and overview of basic editing procedures

Hour 3:

Student edits template and performs basic tasks with teacher guiding

Hour 4:

Overview of advanced procedures such as template overrides, module editing, etc. if time permits (based on student proficency)

NOTE: Student should already have basic to advanced knowledge of HTML & CSS as well as some knowldge of the Joomla CMS. 4 hours will not permit any in depth overview of the Joomla interface and the student is incouraged to learn on his/her own beforehand.

The above is a tentative schedule that's dependent on many factors. We based the curriculum on an average learning curve and an average basic set of computing skills.

Completing a Joomla Web site during the course of a block of session is also dependent on the complexity of said web site. Your mileage may vary.
