    Job Summary:

    We are currently seeking a Multimedia Designer to join our Sacramento Graphics team. The incumbent will be responsible for the development of various graphic solutions through a variety of media outlets including print, video, and web. Creativity, independent judgment based on goals, and ability to multi-task are must-have qualities. This individual will be responsible for conceptualization and design of materials such as client presentations, marketing materials, and advertising campaigns. They will be responsible for generating comps, digital mock-ups, and final art. This position will also manage all corporate web-based endeavors including internet, intranet, and digital campaigns. This role will include responsibility to actively pursue new media and motion graphics, bringing the best and most appropriate forward for implementation. They will insure department standards are met on all projects and that market and regional expectations are exceeded. Further, they will maintain brand consistency firm-wide. Project management skills are a must.


    Essential Functions:

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    Design:
    • Implements and stays on top of the latest processes and design approaches in digital media and web-based design.
    • Uses knowledge of current graphic design software to help conceive and produce visual materials and campaigns for promotions, advertisements, and corporate material.
    • Responsible for assisting with the enforcement of the firm brand image and style guides in all digital media firm-wide.
    • Maintains firm website, intranet, and all promotional email blasts and campaigns.
    • Generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, sound, text, and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia designs.

    Project Management:
    • Manages all projects from start to finish.
    • Facilitates and leads meetings.
    • Ability to communicate with and present ideas to varied audiences, ranging from senior executives to technical and non-technical colleagues.


    Knowledge, Skill, and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Arts.

    • Four (4) to eight (8) years of graphics experience.

    • Experience with digital, motion, and web-based graphics.

    • Knowledge of:
    o Graphic design software (i.e. Adobe CS5.x)
    o Video production software (i.e. Premiere, After Effects, Motion)
    o Web Design and Implementation knowledge (i.e. HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, ActionScript, CSS, Sharepoint, Wordpress, other WYSIWYG platforms)
    o Microsoft Office (i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)

    • Highly organized and must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Independent judgment, good problem-solving skills, and high level of creativity.

    • Open to receiving direction on many fronts.

    • Strong motivation to grow personal and technical expertise in order to achieve excellence.

We specialize in a process call dye sublimation that allows us to print on mugs, t-shirts, waterbottles mousepads and more. We are currently looking for a part time graphic Artist to help with pre press set up and production. This is a non design position. All you have to do is download the art sent drop it into a template and then match the colors as close as possible. The right person would have the following.

    Skills in AI and Photoshop
    AA or BA in Graphic arts or related field preferred but not required
    Must know how to color match using a CMYK environment
    Good customer Service Skills

    Flexible hours. This is a part time job with some weekends.
