Even Web Developers have to have fun sometimes. This is an MP3 of a piece I composed about a year ago that's part of a larger suite. Unfortunately the pressures of work did not allow me to master the other pieces lately, but I hope to do so soon.

This is a piece I composed exacty a year after my first piece below. I can't say I got that much better but I think this piece has a bit more going for it. Plus it has one of my favorite instruments as a lead, the Oboe, and in one part it interacts with a Clarinet creating some pretty nice sounds.

I'd have to say that one of my favorite parts in this piece is the double Bass semi-solo in the middle. The double bass has such a beautiful haunting sound that is a shame it is not used more in classical music. As usual, my lack of skills prevented me from really realizing this piece in the way it sounded in my head, but I am beginning amateur at this and I am just happy that I can actually compose for orchestra.
