I am constantly on the lookout for specilized software to help with my work. In fact, if it wasn't for some of these software titles I often think I could not do my work.
Whenever possible I like to suggest Open Source software, but I don't mind reviewing the occasional commercial title, as long as it is either top of the class or reasonably priced.
TechSmith Snagit - Screen capture on steroids

About a year ago I purchased Snagit from TechSmith to manage my Screen Captures. Until then I had been using either the good old "alt-print screen", the Vista/Win7 Capture utility or, for my Firefox Browser, I used the pro version of Fireshot, an add on for Firefox that ads full page scrolling to your browser's screenshots. 1Password is a very well designed password manager for Mac OS X and if you have a Mac you owe it to yourself to run and get a copy. Why?

A must have for web developers and anyone that makes a living on the web. I have been using Roboform (RF) for over 5 years now. I can frankly say that without it I could not run my business at all.
