I created a list of Joomla core links that should make it easier, among other things, to work on a live site with SEF URLs turned on. The list is not complete yet and it may be repetitive at times, but I find it very useful.

While I was at it, I included some of the internal administrative links. Lately I have had to use them when a site's admin menu no nonger worked and my list was the only way I had to reach some areas of the administration until I could fix the site.

The links below can come in handy in a variety of situations:
Changing the core modules link (as I did when I created a login module for Jomsocial)
Inserting a login link in the infamous "you are not authorized to view this resource" page (hint: look in the language files for the text)
To place a link in an article when using SEF URLs. The benefits of the core links in Joomla is that they never change while the SEF links do.
