AFTIP.net is a website we built for the Americans for Truth in Politics, a Colorado based lobbying group.

The site uses the Joomla! CMS application but it is static in nature with a simple home page and a contact form.

What makes this site worthy of inclusion in our portfolio is that the site's main areas were built in little more than an hour from the time the client called us to inquire if we could build a site for them in record time and when the site went live.

The client needed the site because of new governmental requirements in regard to lobbying group. They needed a domain name, a publicly available website and a contact form from the site's domain name.

The client did not have a domain name or a hosting account and they had no idea on how to go about it. We guided them to purchase a domain name from Godaddy.com while we setup a new hosting account on one of our servers.

Once we purchased and redirected the domain we installed Joomla CMS, we picked a template we designed for a previous project, changed the graphics a bit and we launched the site while we were still on the phone with the client.

The other advantage of Joomla is that all the built in features of this popular CMS solution are still part of the site, just hidden until such time they will be needed and additional features can be installed with little effort at any time after deployment.

All in all, choosing Joomla for this site was an economical, fast and powerful choice.
